Craft Sake brewed in
Setesdal valley, Norway

A Nordic twist on traditional
Japanese sake brewing
Traditional Japanese sake meets Nordic innovation—white koji and Norwegian kveik add bright acidity and fruitiness, while hops, oak aging, and local sloe berries bring fresh, bold flavors. A unique fusion bridging sake with wine, beer, and Nordic nature.

History of Rannei
Rannei Sake draws its name from an old Setesdal legend. To win Ranneis hand, Reiår had to ride across a mighty waterfall. On his final crossing, he fell—giving the waterfall its name, Reiårsfossen. Across the river stands Rannei Brewery, honoring this tale of courage and devotion. Brewed with pure Ose spring water and Nordic ingredients, Rannei Craft Sake blends nature, heritage, and Japanese craftsmanship
